Concept
VELD will be a place where people stay, learn, grow and enjoy themselves in harmony with nature. Exactly what VELD will look like depends on the final location and the ecological & social issues in the area.
One thing is certain: soon VELD visit VELD for a relaxing vacation, a nice long family weekend, a walk, or a glass of natural wine. In addition, VELD will offer VELD , retreats, and small events focused on living in greater harmony with nature, and we’ll provide a space for communities to come together.
Always with a positive impact on people, nature and the environment.
VELD LAND: Exuberant nature
The landscape—ideally between 10 and 100 hectares—will soon consist largely of (lots of!) new nature that re-wilding undergoing re-wilding , with our help where necessary. We contribute to the ecological needs of the area and are happy to take visitors on guided tours of the grounds. In addition, there is a pick-your-own flower meadow, herb garden, nature playground, and regenerative farm that visitors can enjoy and use. The landscape and many of the natural facilities are accessible to everyone. So you don’t VELD stay at VELD to enjoy the area.
VELD spaces: Regeneration in motion
Throughout the year, our practical and inspiring regenerative methods can be admired on the grounds.
With a variety of courses and events for all ages, we invite everyone to explore the concept of regenerative living at their own pace. For example, a workshop on zero-waste cooking or making flower garlands. But also a rewilding course or a multi-day permaculture training program.
We host these events in our creative spaces or professional kitchen. We also use these spaces for other purposes, such as hosting a local micro-bakery that provides a delicious breakfast on the spot, or offering guest activities like cooking classes or rentals for a relaxing yoga or painting session. In this way, we make the spaces available to both VELD guests VELD the local community.
VELD retreat: immersed in regenerative opulence
Guests stay overnight in unique wooden tents and enjoy retreat facilities such as a natural swimming pond, sauna or fire pit. There is room for connection with each other and nature, for example during a VELD chef's dinner or by harvesting and cooking from the land themselves. The communal breakfast table provides opportunity for new connections, while the pantry and honesty bar invite local exploration with homegrown items and beautiful regenerative products from nearby.
Visitors playfully experience the fully regenerative environment of VELD, which is designed to have a positive impact on the environment. Thus, visitors experience an adventurous stay in complete harmony with nature.
Regeneration as a common thread
It will be clear: everything is about regeneration. Also of our visitors.
By enjoying and unwinding. But also by experiencing the power and beauty of feral nature and allowing the holistic regenerative environment to be a source of inspiration and enlightenment. By exploring and learning. And thus strengthening the connection to our own inner nature and being open to growth and change.
Thus we help nature, and nature helps us.
